Lakers’ Bynum Cursed by Memphis

Less than ten minutes into the Lakers game, Andrew Bynum went down screaming. The most logical thought was that playing in Memphis was too much for him and he couldn’t take it for more than 7 minutes.

One Football Fan’s Guide of What NOT to Do on Super Bowl Sunday

For fans of the underdog Cardinals, you never know if you are going to shock the world. Trust me, I found this out the hard way. The best advice I can give is to stay true to your pre-game routine, don your team colors and don’t act like a fool or else you could possibly miss history, embarrass yourself and more importantly, suffer from a mean 48-hour hangover.

GameDay Food on the Biggest Game Day

And yeah, so Arizona made it to their first Super Bowl ever, but wait…aren’t we missing the most important thing about Sunday’s game? What’s a great Super Bowl without a great party complete with tasty food and divine liquor?

Stocking up on Streamers

The economy is shrinking faster than Jason Giambi’s man-orbs on steroids, and jobs are getting cut like the whole country is on a terrible NutriSystem diet.  But if you are looking for work there is one industry that HAS to be thriving:  Streamers.  Seriously, whomever invests in streamers could live off the NBA contract alone.  [...]

Betting Super Bowl XLIII

The interesting team that everyone wants to root for is the Cardinals. Go Larry Fitzgerald and Go Kurt Warner! I would love for them to win a title. I think Warner deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, and if he chokes like he did last time he was here, then he will probably not get that opportunity.

Countdown to Super Bowl XLIII: Part 4 (The Picks)

it is almost time for that once-a-year event where football transcends all walks of life and even the most casual of fan finds their proper place on the couch in front of an oversized television. If people congregate just for an excuse to congregate, or if they come to intently watch the multi-million dollar commercials, or if they tune in for the potential of the next nip slip, or if they just plain love the NFL like I do, millions will watch the spectacle that is the Super Bowl and be treated to an athletic event like none other.

Play the Damn Game Already!

For a fan of the Arizona Cardinals, one of the lowliest franchises in professional sports, you’d think that soaking in the two weeks before the Super Bowl would be easy, almost fantasy like. However, I can assure you while people may have begun to respect me and my team for the first time in my life these past few weeks, the wait has been unbearable.

Coutdown to Super Bowl XLIII: Part 3 (Offense)

In the days leading up to the big game, Super Bowl XLIII, The Sports Union asked Kevin Patra and J.David to once again make their picks for the final game of the NFL season; but since it is the big one, they have to do it a little grander. All week our editors will battle it out via email and allow you access to their conversation, we like to call it the Palin-effect. Today’s topic is Offense.
