Highlights Show Wolverine Football is Back . . . Maybe

I am not at the point of saying that “Michigan is BACK!” but they are sure on the right road and heading in the right direction.  The plan was always to give Rich-Rod three years to get his guys and his system in place in Ann Arbor, and we are starting to see what that will look like even now.  No more 350 pound slow offensive linemen.  No large lumbering quarterback.  No more three yards and a cloud of dust.  This is, or at least will be, a new brand of Michigan football and the diehard Michigan fans will come on board . . . soon.  Here are some “highlights” of the first half of year 2 in the Michigan transformation.

The 2009 Season Preview – Lose Yourself

Though I never think it is a good idea to do a season preview video with the background music having anything to do with “losing” but this is Detroit’s golden boy … err, beatnik.  And after the awful 2008 season, people were beginning to wonder if Lloyd Carr wasn’t a better choice for coach.  LET ME ANSWER THAT … HELL, NO!

All They Need is a Little Practice

The Detroit Free Press made up, invented, concocted, a controversy (probably to sell papers because it is a second-rate news organization) that Rich-Rod was being too tough on the boys and making them practice too long violating the 20-hour NCAA rule.  ARE YOU FREAKIN’ KIDDING ME?  One more year of “additional practice time” might just make a difference in this program so keep it up.

Shoelace Dennard Robinson Intros Himself to the Big House

How is that for your first carry?  It was at this point the whole sports world, i.e. ESPN, was swinging from Robinson’s onion sack, but it wouldn’t be long until they fell in love with Tate.

A Coming Out Party for a Guy Named ‘Tate’

Catch the freakin’ ball!!!  Sorry, flashbacks.  What a game from start to finish with players making plays (except in the Wolverine secondary), coaches being out-coached (FIRE Weis!) and the crowd left wondering, “What could Tate do next?”.

And YES, There are Some Hot Girls at U of M

Is there anything sexier then an attractive girl talking sports?  Granted, this chick doesn’t have a clue about football, or probably sports, but maybe her just wearing a Michigan jersey is enough to rise her above the competition (and yes, that totally makes sense).

More Masturbation Material for Kevin Patra

Yea, I said it.  When a brother texts you, “I am drunk and I think I have a mancrush on Tate” you know there is something special happening.  I am just here helping a brother out!  Tate is amazing but is still a freshman.  Let’s just see if Rich-Rod can take a big talent and make him even better, unlike the leprechaun from Ohio State who took a HUGE talent in Terrelle Pryor and is making him an afterthought as a wildcat gimmick.

Anytime Ohio State Loses, It Makes Me Smile

The clock is ticking just as fast for a 29-year-old girl as it is for the leprechaun.  There is a chink in the armor in Columbus and the natives (i.e. – ignorant mother f’ers) from OSU are starting to think the sweater vest needs to go.  Well, it is true the sweater vest does need to go (it has since 1988) but Buckeye fans who are you going to get to replace him?  Wait, Lloyd Carr is still available . . .
