Marc Stein reported that former Dallas Mavericks coach Avery Johnson turned down the opportunity to coach the Memphis Grizzlies.   In similar news, an ex-military general declined the opportunity to train new soldiers at a US command post in Siberia.   Both men cited a fear of depression and possible suicide as the main reasons for not taking the positions.   According to one job search website, both positions rank high on the “Best Available Jobs” list.  They fall just below such promising careers as ‘Urinal Cake Replacement Specialist,’ ‘Porno Theater Janitor’ and ‘Detroit Lions Fan.’
