The Detroit Red Wings pummeled the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-0 in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals  Detroit demonstrated that when it controls the puck in the offensive zone Pittsburgh has no chance.  The Penguins shot themselves in the proverbial flipper again and again with idiotic penalties that aided to the Detroit rout.  Pavel Datsyuk’s return to the lineup was a big boost to the Red Wings game.  Bringing back Datsyuk is like if the writers of “24″ decided to let the other agents go after terrorists for half a season before letting loose Jack Bauer.  “Oh by the way we have this guy too, now your totally screwed.”
