As the founders of The Sports Union babbled on during their most recent podcast (listen to The Pump Fake), Kevin Patra claimed that there were “no good-looking girls in softball.”  J.David took offense to that statement and said he could prove that there were.  That is where we, the interns, come in.  After the taping of the podcast, J.David sent us the following note:

“Interns, if you want to keep your job then find me some hot softball chicks!  Do it for Hump Day.”

So, here is what we like to call our effort to bring you the sexy girls of softball (or better known as: “A Tribute to Jennie Finch!”)

But first we must pay homage to a movie that put “softball” on the map.

And now, to the sexy softball girls!

But don’t forget this “softball chick” is actually this:

We were always taught to come out with our best argument first.  So, we decided to provide our best evidence to convince Patra that there are good looking girls in softball.  Well, Patra we thought you might like these:

If the uniforms looked more like this, more dudes would watch.  But they would need to make a no sliding rule.

Don’t ask what this girl is doing, but we think the camera guy said, “Act like you just caught the ball, and oh yeah, act sexy too.”

Almost didn’t make the cut because we know J.David’s disdain for all Boston-area sports.

I am sure she played softball once in her life … or at least we hope she did and that should be close enough.
